French Public Buildings Going Timber

The French government has announced plans for a sustainability law that will ensure all new public buildings are built from at least 50 percent timber or other natural materials. This is due to be implemented by 2022.

Imagine if we did this and utilised the abundant and sustainable timber resource and expertise of building using mass timber product such as Woodspan PLT, CLT, LVL and Glulam that we have in this country.
