Hospital Rd Apartments The Project – 6 x 2 bedroom apartments located close to Wellington Hospital. These units offer short term accommodation for medical staff or families of patients. The Challenge -This was a very compact site, with curved walls providing an interesting aesthetic while also maximising site coverage. The Solution -90mm thick PLT panels were utilised for all of the midfloors in the building. This was a cost effective solution which contributed to an efficient fire and acoustic solution for the layup between units. The panels were modelled and curves precisely cut on our CNC machine, then delivered to site for speedy installation.
